The EDCTP Forum 2027 will take place in Madrid, Spain, from 5-9 April 2027. Global Health EDCTP3 has opened a call for abstracts, scientific symposia and workshops, with a deadline of 2 September 2026. 

In addition, applications are now open for the EDCTP Prizes 2027. This edition will award four prize categories, highlighting excellence in scientific leadership, collaborative team research, and gender-balanced scientific contribution. Applications for the prizes must be submitted by the individuals or teams applying, along with supporting letter(s) of recommendation from at least one reputable scientist. The deadline for applications is 2 September 2026.

Sponsorship opportunities can be looked up at the sponsorship opportunities  page. This 13th edition of the EDCTP Forum is expected to welcome approximately 1,500 participants from around the world, making it a great opportunity to showcase the work of partner organisations.

One of the sponsorship opportunities is to provide a scholarship to an early or mid-career investigator (from Africa or Europe) to attend the Forum and present his/her research findings and network with other delegates.
