Launch of Advisory Committee for STRI 4 Society Week 2026

The Advisory Committee for Science, Technology, Research and Innovation (STRI) for Society Week 2026 has been launched, marking a key step in preparations for Kenya’s inaugural national platform for research and innovation.

The launch brought together stakeholders from across the Research, Science, Technology and Innovation (RSTI) ecosystem to discuss the committee’s role in guiding the planning and delivery of the upcoming event, including how research can be translated into practical solutions for society.

The National Research Fund (NRF) will co-convene STRI 4 Society Week, scheduled for 18-22 May 2026 in Nairobi, supporting efforts to showcase Kenya’s research excellence, strengthen collaboration across the RSTI ecosystem, and accelerate the translation of research into impactful solutions for national development.
