DESCRIPTION:Apply Now         Application Closes on 31st March 2026\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Committee on Space Research (COSPAR) International Capacity Building Workshop on Mineral and Material Sciences for Space Exploration is a two-week intensive scientific training program organized by the University of Nairobi\, in collaboration with international partners. \nThe workshop brings together leading international scientists and early-career researchers to explore the role of minerals and materials in understanding planetary formation\, space missions\, and the origins of life. \nParticipants will engage in \n\n                           Advanced lectures by leading scientists\n                           Hands-on laboratory training\n                            Fieldwork for sample collection\n                            Data analysis using real mission datasets\n\n\nThe workshop will be hosted in Nairobi and will include field activities at geologically significant sites comparable to those of the East African Rift.
